higher education

Having developed and implemented high profile coaching and mentoring programmes at the University of Hertfordshire for 15 years I can offer a consultancy service to other higher education institutions in order that this exemplary practice to improve student performance can be emulated.

The service would include the development of all required resources such as for mentor or coach recruitment, delivery of the training as well as guidance on evaluation tools. Having provided evidence of improved retention rates and student satisfaction scores as well as improved academic attainment you can be sure that your scheme will succeed.

The service can also be provided for staff mentoring or coaching programmes or even staff to student schemes.

All training resources and materials provided will suit the aims and objectives of your particular programme whether that is to improve academic attainment, support final year students with the transition to work or target specific groups in order to narrow the attainment gap.

With years of experience of successful mentor and coach recruitment, training and supervising over 400 student mentors and coaches each year, this expertise will be invaluable in helping you to launch your programme.

Support can be provided for your nominated member of staff in order that the programme can continue after the training or consultancy period is ended.

What is the next step?

Whatever your needs, whether you have something specific in mind or not please feel free to contact me. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to obtain guidance from an expert in the field of coaching and mentoring.

Durham University Foundation Centre students received two days of training from Jill Andreanoff who was an expert on Peer Mentoring and Coaching. The training was delivered very clearly, with many practical exercises. Students felt the broad range of mentoring tools introduced as well as exercises such as problem solving, etc. were very helpful. They felt that trainers were very experienced and thoroughly enjoyed the sessions.
